Georgia Peach Cookies
Ingredients:
- 5 cups flour
- 1 lb. butter (softened)
- 1-8 ounce Philadelphia Cream Cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- warm water to moisten
- Fresh Georgia Peach Preserves from Pearson Farm
Directions:
Cream together cream cheese and butter until fluffy. Sift together flour and salt. Add gradually to creamed mixture. Add only enough warm water to make dough form a ball. Cut dough in half and refrigerate for about an hour for easier handling. Roll dough into a very thin sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 2 inch squares. Carefully lift with a spatula and put about 1/2 teaspoon of peach preserves into the center. Fold opposite corners over the preserves. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden at the tips.
