There has been a lot change in this country since Pearson Farm planted its first trees in 1885. And at the same time there are values and principles that have remained true to this day.
Looking ahead for a moment, Mother’s Day is coming up on Sunday May 14.
As an interesting bit of trivia, Mother’s Day is younger than Pearson Farm. Mother’s Day was established by Anna Jarvis and was celebrated at St. Andrew's Methodist Church in Grafton, West Virginia, on May 10, 1908. The holiday started with one woman (Jarvis) who held a memorial ceremony to honor her mother and all mothers at her Church. In 1914, Woodrow Wilson signed a proclamation designating Mother's Day, held on the second Sunday in May, as a national holiday to honor mothers. This is a great example of how one person’s passion can impact a nation of people.
Pearson Farm has always honored family as demonstrated by its legacy in Georgia for 5 generations now. So, as Mother’s Day approaches, we urge you to honor all mothers; past present and future, in the same spirit that Anna Jarvis honored hers.
If you are looking for some gift ideas, we can help with that as well. Check out the selections here: http://www.pearsonfarm.com/gifts

St. Patrick is the beloved patron saint of Ireland. St. Patrick’s Day is a celebration of the life of St. Patrick who died on March 17 in 460 A.D. But the first St Patrick's Day parade was not held until homesick Irish soldiers wanted to connect with their roots in New York City on March 17, 1762.
Irish families have celebrated the feast of St Patrick as a holiday for thousands of years taking a break from Lent when prohibitions were lifted for one day of dancing, drinking and feasting on meat.
So, with this kind of festive attitude, it only makes sense to include pecans as a tasty snack to your St. Patrick’s Day festivities. We know that your friends would be green with envy if you were to receive a Pearson Favorite, our delicious chocolate drenched pecan halves, especially knowing that March is the last month that you can get these until October.
At Pearson Farm we also know that around any holiday it is better to give than to receive. That is why we have such a wonderful selection of delicious pecan treats. Check them out here while there is still time to get them to someone special, even if that someone special is you.
May your blessings outnumber
The shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you
Wherever you go.

When you think of your Valentine, you might be thinking of these 3 words that define them:
To have a Valentine means that you have already made an emotional commitment. Everyone also knows that patience is a necessary ingredient in any relationship and love is the glue that hold it all together.
So, what does Pearson Farm have in common with commitment, patience and love?
As for patience, we live in a world of instant gratification. Fast access to information and same day delivery means that people don’t have to wait for much. But the Pearson’s need patience to produce their quality products. Imagine looking at an empty field and thinking, “At this time in 3 years, we can start to pick our first fruit from trees that haven’t been planted yet.” That also reinforces their commitment to the Pearson Farm purpose.
Commitment, patience and love are just some of what it takes to have a great relationship and to grow quality Georgia Grown products for our family and you and yours, year after year.
If you want to see our commitment in action go to www.PearsonFarm.com
If you want to see how our commitment to quality tastes in person, check out several selections here. We are confident that you will love them as much as we do. And don’t worry, if you can’t wait to try them, we’ll rush them right over to you.
Happy Valentine’s Day from Pearson Farm.

There are a lot of foods already getting into the Valentine’s Day spirit. We have seen some of their slogans;
- I love you a Latte
- Olive Love You
- You have a pizza my heart
Not to be outdone, Pearson Farm does want you to think of someone special this Valentine’s Day with a gift of our home-grown Georgia Pecans. We think you should convey your affections with confections. We also know that no two people are alike so we propose something both Sweet and Salty. One of our classic Pecan gift tins contains both our Chocolate Drenched Pecan Halves and our Toasted & Salted Pecans for a tempting combination. We assure you , it does nut get butter than this!
The best news is Pearson Farm has a wide variety of Pecan gift tins as well as a good assortment of Chocolate Pecans and our Signature In-Shell Pecans. Pearson Farm has something for everyone on your Valentine’s Day gift list. So to the other foods making their Valentine’s Day slogans we say this; we don’t always make Pecan Puns but when we do they are nutty.
