Charlie's Pecan Pie

Pecan PieIngredients:

  • 1 ready-made pie crust
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped Pearson pecans



Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat eggs, sugar, and salt. Add liquids. Wisk until mixture is frothy. (This step of wisk until frothy is what makes this pecan pie tastes lighter and we think better that the rest) Layer pecans on bottom of pie crust. Pour filling to top. Bake until firm (about 1 hour).
